Por la fecha número 12 Ferro enfrentó a Circulo Deportivo de Rafael Otamendi. El encuentro inició con retraso debido a que el ambulancia no estaba presente en el estadio y no pudo iniciar.
La primera etapa tuvo un Ferro movedizo que llegó por los costados y generó varias situaciones ante un conjunto visitante que dejaba muchos espacios a la hora de marcar. Joaquín Vivani, capturó un rebote y facturó para Ferro poniendo a los dirigidos por Giganti uno a cero arriba en el marcador. Ezequiel Riera puso el segundo tras un zapatazo desde afuera que se le metió al uno Del Curto. Sobre el final descontó el visitante por intermedio de Cabrera y se puso a tiro para el complemento.
Tras el descanso,Ferro tuvo un quedo en su andar y eso posibilitó la reacción de Círculo Deportivo que llegó al empate por intermedio del ingresado Leonardo. La visita quedó con diez por la expulsión del segundo marcador central Cabrera y Ferro puso toda la carne a la parrilla para ir en busca del tanto que le diera la victoria.
